Car Care System Options & Accessories
When you select a Spencer car care central vacuum system for your operation, we’ll help you round out that system with auxiliary equipment such as valves, gauges, couplings, metallic tubing lines, controls, tool hangers and other components. A Spencer representative who specializes in this field will work with you, learn your needs and develop a system with all the right features.

Gasoline Island Location
The vacuum unit can be installed on a gasoline island by using an explosion-proof motor, grounded hose, grounded filter bags and a metallic tubing system, all available from Spencer.
Island Adapter Kit
Special 90° elbow fits the primary inlet on the separator and “turns the corner” tightly to allow mounting of the vacuum unit on 42" wide island without extending over sides.

WaterTrap Liquid Collector
This sits on top of a 30-gal. or 55-gal. drum to collect shampoo suds, winter slush and liquid residues before they can make a muddy mess or harden into “concrete” in the dry vacuum system.

Island Knockout Separator intercepts heavy car cleaning trash on gasoline island, connected by Spencer tubing to CarVac central unit at rear.
Island Knockout Separator
This short centrifugal separator collects debris near the pickup point, avoids abrasion and possible blockage of vacuum tubing caused by conveying debris back to the main dirt separator.
Side-Saddle™ CarVac with 90° Access
This special configuration has the separator door and dirt can turned 90° for easier installation and access in tight quarters of utility or mechanical rooms.
Piggyback™ Dual Vacuum Producer Unit
This double-barreled design has two vacuum producers “over and under” for fail-safe operation. One unit operates at a time; the other remains on standby until needed.
Engineering Modifications
Spencer can adapt any vacuum system for 50 Hz power or operation at high altitudes.

Car Care Hose and Tool Kit
The standard Car Care Hose and Tool Kit is a convenient all-in-one package with 15' long, 1-1/2" diameter yellow plastic hose, coupling, duck foot cleaning tool and tool holder. For the full Spencer selection of vacuum cleaning accessories including other hoses and tools.

Tubing, Fittings, Filter Bags and Inlet Valves
Spencer offers vacuum tubing of zinc-galvanized steel and other metals in a range of diameters up to 14". Inlet valves, couplings, sleeves, hoses, vacuum tools and fittings simplify system installation and use. We even have a special Y fitting to serve both sides of an island with one drop.
Filter bags can be supplied in various fabrics for special needs such as anti-static properties, extra-high filtration efficiency or use in moist environments.

Spencer has complete capabilities for electrical components, from a simple motor starter up to a PLC or microprocessor-controlled system with operator interfaces. Control panels and starters are supplied prewired and ready for hookup to your electrical system. UL/CUL Listed units available.
