Options & Accessories

Replaceable Intake Section. Abrasion-resistant steel plate, with or without special coatings, helps handle abrasive materials.

Motorized Bag Shaker. Motorized mechanism for automatic bag shaking after shutdown; also available with motor starter and timer.

Explosion Relief Port. Sized according to NFPA guidelines to relieve vessel pressure in case of explosion to avoid equipment damage or personal injury.

Special Materials. Standard construction is carbon steel; alternate materials include galvanized steel, Cor-Ten® steel, aluminum, 304 or 316 stainless steel and abrasion-resistant steel.

Rotary Valve. Allows continuous discharge of free-flowing, non-abrasive materials during operation. Many other styles of manual and motor-operated valves are available for continuous or post-shutdown hopper emptying.

Canvas Neck & Barrel Cover. Allows discharge of collected material directly into customer drums after shutdown, lessening dust release.

Multiple Leg Support. The standard configuration of multiple legs is a tripod support; a four-pipe-leg option is also available. Various heights may be specified.

Support Frame. Custom frame can support one or more separators and other equipment such as platforms and ladders for worker convenience.

Vacuum Gauges. Standard gauge reports vacuum inside separator, differential vacuum gauge measures differential across filters to flag a need for cleaning. May be connected to a control panel to activate a warning device.

Grounding System. Network of copper wires in the filter bags is grounded to the separator, which is connected to a grounding lug.

Sprinkler Head Connection. Removable cover assembly allows introduction of water or chemicals to extinguish fire within the separator. 

Filter Bag Options. Filter bags of cotton sateen, cotton twill, polyester, nylon, polypropylene, PTFE membrane and Nomex®.

High Level Indicator. Various means for indicating high material depth; may be wired to control panel to sound alarm, activate warning light, etc.

Manual Debridger. Hand-operated device for loosening compacted material in hopper for discharge.
