Special Designs

Spencer can deliver customized vacuum system separators for any need. Some of our designs that began as limited-run, engineered specials are now standard products that possess some very special abilities, such as our Immersion Separators, Bag-In/Bag-Out Separators and Top Drum® Separators.

 

This is a highly specialized design for handling sensitive materials such as flammables. For greater processing safety, all material passes through a water filtration chamber. The separator contents can be emptied by gravity or pressure. Construction can be galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminum. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Designed for collecting toxic materials such as arsenic powder or pharmaceutical dust, the BIBO separator features hands-off filter changes, limiting personnel exposure to hazardous substances and complying with OSHA regulations. Special hopper emptying provisions are available as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A very convenient separator design, the Top Drum sits on a 55-gallon drum for point-of-use convenience in segregating recyclable materials, for example.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We can equip Spencer separators with access ladders, platforms and railings; special paints or coatings; oversized trapdoors for discharging bulky materials; jumbo collection bins for large volumes of material; special fixtures, different metals such as Cor-Ten® steel or abrasion-resistant steel, etc.

 

We can change the separator height or width, reposition the discharge cone, adapt separators to fit over customers’ tote bins, use stainless steel or other materials of construction, etc.
